Thank you for posting that link, even though it goes a bit in the opposite direction in an effort to "debunk".
Fauci's 20-month old comment was applicable generally to any vaccine, including the Covid-19 "vaccines", but not those specifically. There's no big revelation here.
It's sort of embarrassing when FreeRepublic reposts something both out of date and out of context. But it's hard to avoid, when things like this go viral.
