Turns out, it suits the Crimson Tide just fine.
Now, Nick Saban’s team is in a much more familiar position: getting ready to play for another national title.
Bryce Young carved up the nation’s top-rated defense, throwing for three touchdowns and running for another as the fourth-ranked Crimson Tide rolled over No. 1 Georgia 41-24 in the Southeastern Conference championship game Saturday.

Yep. The transfer portal is making life difficult for coaches, when you have too many good quarterbacks, it creates headaches.

Of course, Georgia may have approached this game, like they were playing with house money, knowing they would make the playoffs no matter what. I suspect if they do play again, UGA will show a completely different look.

At times this year the offensive line has done a poor job of pass protection and in supporting the rush. They did a good job in pass protection last night. Alabama played its best game of the year.
Yeah, what you said is true about Uga quarterbacks. However, did you see what Georgia’s defense did or did not do?! There were Bama receivers completely uncovered. Like no one anywhere near. Some sort of weak zone. Man coverage would have been far better. And sometimes there was man coverage and just not enough.
I think it's unrealistic to assume that if they weren't watching football, they'd be volunteering for the phone banks at RNC headquarters or some such.
I do regret that I spent most of my adult life wasting perfect autumn weekends drinking beer and watching football. I gave up watching weekend football six or seven years ago. Since then, I have great memories of hiking in the woods on weekends, visiting farm stands with my wife and going to Octoberfests or Renaissance Fairs with my sons.
If I could do life over again, I would never have watched a single football game on TV. There are so many more alternatives for spending your autumn weekends. But I doubt I would be more politically active than I already am. Also, I never wore my ballcap backwards!
You may be right. But I will grant you this. If Michigan wins it all, Ann Arbor and DEEtroit areas will burn in the celebrations.

Untill I recently retired, I was working for a HUUGGEE Tech Company whose HQs are on the West coast and smack full of woke idiots.

Georgia coaches did not develop a game play for Young... Auburn showed them the way to do beat bama but Kirby did not pay attention.
Many have said that the 2020 Alabama football team was the best college football team ever.
