Potemkin Village Market
Exactly! I noticed that too! My husband and I paid big bucks to host our Thanksgiving dinner with family members. But because our grocery bill was so high for the meal we now have to wait until the end of the week to shop for our regular groceries. It’s getting scary out there that I feel like crossing over the Rio grande and letting the Border patrol catch us so we can get the $800 debit cards offered by the UN monthly to invaders. AND YES I’M SERIOUS!
Around my neck of the woods in Virginia the products hardest hit are canned biscuits in the dairy department.
Meat department its whatever cuts of meat are on sale, on sale hotdogs, on sale lunch meats, sausage and bacon. If the sausage and bacon aren’t on sale the racks are full.
In canned goods lima beans, some corn items seem to be out of stock constantly. Other items seem to be hit or miss.
Cat food is the big find. Any day you go to the store the cat food section looks like a bomb went off. Canned cat food flies off the shelf like monkeys out of Hillary Clinton’s butt.
And the prices of everything are going through the roof.
