Your assertion are nonsense.
Insurance companies do not give a damn about you or your health. They only care about how much money they can squeeze out of you and with the help of the US Congress they can squeeze a lot.
The doctor can at least be sued if he gives you the wrong medicine. Suing PPB because some clod switched you to another medication that they did not realize (or care) went through a sulfa wash and so you ended up in emergency, not so easy.
Not even a realistic story.
But I am sure the PPB's tell this fairy tale to their children at night.

My assertion is based upon fact. I know how the system works. I have relatives at high levels in the business. Your assertion is based upon paranoia.
The doctor can at least be sued if he gives you the wrong medicine.
And, he still can be if he does. But, there is much less chance of that happening if his particular treatment is being peer-reviewed by a group of specialists in dealing with your condition.
