Can’t disagree but where you are wrong is the context and individual risk factors. The context is the virus has a 99.6 survival rate - even before the vax. We know who it negatively affects the worst - the obese, old and very sick. There’s no meaningful reason for healthy people and especially kids to take the vaccine.
I completely agree with you. Nearly everyone under the age of 50 need not worry about this stupid disease.
I'm 62, generally healthy but technically "obese". My chances of surviving COVID, if I got it, were likely close to 99%.
WITH The vax, that rate goes to >99.9%. When we're talking about DYING as the consequence, I thought taking the vax was worth the risk.
I have not recommended it for my 31 and 32 year old, VERY healthy sons.. and, I am adamantly OPPOSED to giving it to my 2 and 4 year old grand daughters.
The OVERALL rate varies quite a lot from country to country. But, I don't know ANY that has a 99.6% survival rate. Most are somewhere between 96% and 99%.
The chances of dying go UP, very quickly for people over the age of 65.
If you were 70, and have a few issues... you'd be gambling your life on a 10-15 chance. I like gambling. But, NO THANKS on that one.
