They are making untold billions of dollars in profits from the shots. If the adverse reactions are so rare, the cost of compensation would be a veritable drop in the overflowing cash bucket, wouldn’t it?
Trump was convinced that it was so important to get the vaccines rolled out quickly that he set up rules to protect them from liability. Essentially, since it was GOVERNMENT that wanted the shots to go out, GOVERNMENT accepted the liability.
It was a judgement call. I also have concerns about the money going to these companies... and, the tremendous potential for abuse. But, we have LOTS of data now. From ALL OVER THE WORLD. Unless the whole world is lying, we know... If you're GOING to get Covid, your chances of surviving are MUCH better if you've been vaccinated.
