Apparently there is now some research showing that these monoclonal antibodies also attack the plain old ACE-2 receptors in critical organs of the body as well. So being denied the treatment might not be so bad after all...

My son (37 in excellent health with no comorbidities) had all the symptoms during the week of 11/1, tested positive for Covid on Saturday 11/6, took the monoclonal antibody treatment on Monday 11/8 in Hillsborough County, FL, was miserable all week, but was in recovery and tested negative on Thursday 11/11.
If black and brown people are a priority to receive this antibody treatment, why haven’t they required it be dispensed to every black and brown person coming over the border illegally?
I know several (white) people in PA who got monoclonal antibody treatment. I took a neighbor to a hospital to get it. An outpatient event that took about an hour, and then another hour of being watched for reactions. According to her, it wasn’t suggested by her doctor — she had to request it. There was also some qualification or other, I don’t recall exactly...maybe how long she’d had symptoms, or since testing positive.
What I find odd is that she had to ask. What if you don’t read a lot and have no awareness of monoclonal antibody treatment? Out of luck?

DeSantis and his quack advisors refuse to acknowledge vaccinations as the first line of defense, and are relying on treatment rather than prevention. Florida was therefore overusing monoclonal antibodies. Monoclonal antibodies are the only authorized and effective non- hospital treatment, pending authorization for antivirals. Florida and Texas governors, among others have been killing people with their political nonsense.
This is the kind of trash talk that the left promotes.
Overusing monoclonal antibodies? And the very next sentence lets us know that using the MA is the only safe way to keep people out of the hospitals.
And it doesn't matter much anyway, since the Biden administration is reportedly directing supplies away from Florida.
