Me, too but I just use paper towels above and below the bacon and it’s perfect every time once you learn how long to cook it - which depends on the number of slices. Generally 4:25 for 5 slices. You microwave and taste may vary!
I cook mine in a microwave tray specially made for bacon. It has a lid, which helps keep the spatter down. I always keep my bacon grease in the fridge, to use on all kinds of other stuff. It’s the southern way, ya know.
