Those pictures don’t even look real. They look like digital graphics.

Ordinarily I don't regard a volcanic eruption to cross the threshold of Catastrophism, but ya gotta see these photos. Thanks Roman_War_Criminal.

How many years of human activity does this one eruption equal?

Don’t you know that you’re not supposed to ask THAT question?

At first was told this would be a mild event and over in a short period of time. Then as it was calming down more slowly than expected was still being told it wouldn’t regain in intensity.

Good question. I read in Ian Plimer's book "Heaven and Earth" that the Mount Pinatubo eruption in 1992 put a year's worth (at least) of human CO2 production into the atmosphere. And so what happened? The Earth cooled about 1 degree C the next year. That was of course from the sulfur aerosols that led to more cloud formation and the more reflection of sunlight back into space.
But for the climate nutcases it's all human-produced CO2 all the time and there are no other factors.

their logic states that volcanoes are going to erupt as part of nature, but man’s emissions make the natural levels worse...

yep their logic says no matter how bad the co2 is naturally... man makes things worse by whatever they contribute to it... so the .04% of the atmosphere that is co2, even though man’s share is very minimal, it always makes it worse.
it is failed logic, but their logic.

They’re quite real. I’ve been watching that eruption since day one and the ash it’s putting out the last few days is unreal.
Someone has a drone that gets REALLY crisp footage and my guess is these are stills from some of that footage.

So true and I suppose this is the mentality of the acolytes of all apocalyptic religious cults. They are utterly impervious to facts or reality.

But La Palma feels better, and isn't that what's important?
