So .... it’s being reported in VA that people turn up to vote in person & are told they were mailed a ballot & they cannot vote. The people are irate because they have never voted by mail, nor did they request a mail ballot. They are told repeatedly they cannot vote, BUT if you know to raise a persistent, big enough fuss, they will finally provide you with an affidavit where you can say that you “lost” the mail ballot & then you can vote.

The 300K mail ballot situation STINKS. Hopefully, more ‘real’ votes will happen as the suspicious mail ballots languish somewhere in the post office system.

I heard stories about this too. The GOP is not doing enough to protect the vote. Bannons WarRoom had someone on from Virginia and at the very end she said that if they said you already voted to vote provisionally. I didn't think she was forceful enough about this. It was thrown in almost like an aside.

It should have been one of the first things addressed by the GOP.

Then I think Bannon said try and contact one of the GOP watchers that should be there. Yeah okay. Been a poll worker and a poll watcher. I know how that goes. I'm just hoping there will be enough votes to counter all the absentee ballot cheating, let alone the machines being hacked or software manipulating the votes.

In my state of Florida, one absolutely must request an absentee ballot in order to have one mailed to you. The system there seems to work pretty well. But, I would not be against abolishing all absentee ballots, altogether, as they do in France and much of Europe.
