I’m not surprised. I’ve known that the democrats want to eliminate all Christian religious practice, and they’re doing it by using their power to fire us and to deny us medical care.
Soon (if not already), our military will be told that the standard answer to anything they are told to do to us will be, “We were just following orders.”
And we know how well that worked for another military some decades back.
But of course, it’s part of the left’s drive to totally destroy respect for ALL of the government. Right now, only the military has respect, but they’ll take care of that.

1. Is it reasonable to believe the person is really a religious person?
2. Does the person sincerely hold a belief because of their religious devotion that conflicts with the desired activity?
It doesn't matter if the belief is based on facts, or is incorrect. The belief doesn't need to be proven, and it doesn't need to be approved by another religious leader.
Remember, it is no longer “forever war”. It is now “forever pandemic”.

How would religious exemptions be unfair to those who had the great fortune to be inoculated? I thought the jabs were a good thing. I’m confused.

They had an O-3 JAG draft the letter? He did it at the direction of his SJA (likely an O-6) and the commander, so watch the “he’s a loose cannon and did this all on his own” denials start rolling in.

It’s had a few names since I was there in the late 80’s (Naval Technical Training Center, or NTTC). It was for a while CID (Center for Information Dominance), and now IWTC (Information Warfare Training Center). I know it was an NATS (Naval Air Training Station) during WWII.

Interesting history... I went to “A” and “C” school there, and was there 9 months. Stood guard at the ‘back gate’, which bordered a fairly nice neighborhood a couple times.

Many if not most of us have seen or will see the organizations they/we have worked for and helped to make them successful: Make terrible choices for their employees, like the Covid Vaccine mandates and CRT!
These organizations have turned vicious and vile to their workers. The very people, who helped to make those organizations successful. Covid vaccine mandates and CRT are terrible punishment for many if not most employees.
Also, many of us will or have seen our choice of churches/religion change not for our benefit, and not why we joined and belonged to that church/religion.
Many of us have watched our school systems from K to upper College levels become dangerous liberal CRT hell holes for our children and us. Again, Covid Vaccination Mandates for students, teachers and other employees are vicious and could be dangerous to those getting the vaccines.
Last, but not least, many of us have watched previously sane friends and relatives become haters of what our core beliefs are and have been in the past decade or so.
This current vile era is not new. Many of our parents and Grandparents went through similar B$ from the end of WWII to
???!
Their good advice and actions, decades ago was simple, “Just walk away from the B$ and don’t look back.!”
It still works today.
Plan ahead, in case you need to “walk Away!” from any of the above!
I or we, narrowly escaped a mandatory vaccination, by having to weekly test. I do know the stress of having a potential mandate in the near future. (That hammer may still fall.)
Civil Engineer, I’m 50-ish and have some savings…getting fired, everything was on the table near term including going and getting a CDL-A license. (Drove a few on-site dump trucks working during HS/college.). With the stress I though $80k driving a truck and listening to the radio sounded pretty good.
