BTT. It's confirmation of the rules of handling already discussed ad infinitum but it's coming from a very authoritative source. Of note is that proper protocols take time and the cast and crew of Rust were reportedly under considerable time pressure. That isn't any excuse at all, it's simply how this sort of thing can happen.

The irony is if he’d just stuck to any one of the rules nobody would be dead today. Just ONE, such as Never point the gun at anybody ever. Or dry fire it. Or open it and look. I mean if your a lazy dumbass just stick to ONE.
