If there is no mandate, why are people getting fired?
Some corporations are pfascists all by themselves—they don’t have to wait for orders to start goose-stepping.

Suggest one reads the article to find out. Something similar has apparently made it to the WSJ, as well. Regarding your question, it may be a legal trap for the companies so doing.

Fascism (n) - A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictatorial shadow government, a capitalist economy subject to stringent governmental controls implemented by corporate stooges in bed with the government, suppression of the opposition with Media, social media and targeted prosecutions.
So I think there is a formally issued FEDERAL mandate for armed services, healthcare workers and staff where Medicaid and Medicare payments are given, Federal workers and contractors, and some other Federal agencies. Right? This would be different than that mandate imposed by OSHA on companies of 100 employees or more.
Then you have the local individual company mandates which the Feds are encouraging, so those are just companies doing their own mandates. This whole thing is one big gigantic steaming pile.
