Farm fresh eggs just up the road.
Bantam rooster eggs too.
Fresh farm produce.
Fresh farm fruit.
Fresh Dutch Apple Pie. ...and Cherry Pie. w/vanilla ice cream, after warming up.
Frozen Eggo waffles, not so much.

I noticed the oatmeal increase last week. Steel cut oats are downright expensive. Stocking up.

Can you imagine the times when that sentence was written?
“the people mourn” is an understatement.
Rampant, random execution of innocents.
We’re all like, oh no! our taxes are going up.

Relevant to your interests.
General Mills, the maker of Cheerios and Nature Valley granola bars, nor Quaker Oats Company, the maker of oatmeal, among others, have yet to announce price increase of their oat products,

Food prices will keep inflating because Asia (which has more humans by far than other continents) keeps becoming more prosperous every year, and can now afford more variety of foods. For example economy of India has recently grown at these rates:
India gdp growth rate for 2018 was 6.53%
India gdp growth rate for 2017 was 6.80%
With 1350 Million Indians, there is lot of demand and ability to buy foods.

Excuse me, but oats for December delivery on the Minneapolis Board of Trade closed Friday at $6.55 a bushel, or a little over 20 Cents a pound. Even if cereal millers have to pay twice as much for oats as last year, that would amount to a Dime a pound.
How much does a box of Cheerios sell for?
