In Virginia governor's race, all politics is local

The governor’s race in Virginia is important on many levels. The coming election test between Republican Glenn Youngkin and Democrat former Gov. Terry McAuliffe is seen as an early harbinger for the very important national mid-term in 2022, and rightfully so.

However, for my fellow Virginians, it might actually come down to a test of the political wisdom of the late “Tip” O’Neill, the former Massachusetts Democrat congressmen and Speaker of the House. Take a look at this Kentucky test question on a standardized exam for the gist.

“The phrase, "All politics is local" is a common phrase in U.S. politics. The former U.S. Speaker of the House Tip O'Neill coined this phrase which encapsulates the principle that a politician's success is directly tied to his ability to understand and influence the issues of his constituents. Politicians must appeal to the simple, mundane and everyday concerns of those who elect them into office. Those personal issues, rather than big and intangible ideas, are often what voters care most about, according to this principle.

If Tip was correct, and I believe he was, then the current race for the governor of Virginia between Youngkin and former Governor “Terry” may be a good example of voters having enough of constant one party rule

I'm a lifelong Virginian. Having learned to drive while attending high school in Newport News, Virginia, in the early sixties, I immediately realized one of the most powerful organizations in my life was the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles. Over time, with many many engagements with the DMV, I learned the truth of the cliché that “people are people.”

We shall see. The trashy liberal hives in the northern counties like things just the way they are, with dems running the whole show in Richmond.

Or be a demonRAT, say and do anything, lie and steal, and yet, get elected by voter fraud.

Terry mac is a crooked prick and his lying about Global Crossing back in the 90s cost me over $80,000 in the market.

I've hated him on a personal level ever since.

It won't surprise me to see this hildabutchbitch's gigalo {can you imagine that job}get elected.

What you said, Glen can win but he needs some pipe hitters to let the machine know that it is on to them will expose them and prosecute them. I don’t think he has those folks...

A month or so ago, the My Pillow guy said that states like Missouri were going to audit their Dominion machines. Even though Trump won there, they want to see if the cheat algorithm was used. He said other red states were planning to do the same.

If this could happen and the cheat algorithm exposed, I believe there might actually be "standing" for SCOTUS to ban the use of Dominion and any voting machine connected to the internet.

It's going to take something like this for the Republicans to win back VA and CO. Once a state legislature goes blue, cheating will never be investigated and Dominion machines will make sure the race was within the margin needed.

Dominion machines need to be banned. My county does not use them. The machines they have are actually very easy to use and you would have to be an idiot not to understand the directions.

It’s sad that Communists have now created in this Country a legitimate feeling in citizens that all elections from here on out will be rigged in the Communist favor as it is in third world countries. This is what Communism and tyranny is all about. Now, we have State Agents running around terrorizing parents who have the audacity to speak up for their children. Years ago, during Obozo’s reign, there was a woman dentist and lawyer in California who had previously lived under Communism. She brought several legal actions to try and get the illegitimate Obozo out of office and all failed. Her remarks in response to the corrupt DOJ lawyers and the courts was that she saw the goings on in this Country as the same she experienced under Communism in her native land. She likened opposing Communists to beating your head against a brick wall. You keep trying to oppose their tyranical actions, but Communists will just sit there, look you square in the eye, and then continue to do as they damn please. Ask Rand Paul who has questioned these bastards on the Hill if it’s not true? The woman’s name was Ory Taitz.

It’s funny. I have an Instagram account and every now and again I get different feeds. In the last three days, Taylor Swift has shown up on every feed. Does this correlate to McAwfuls campaign? I think so.

I agree Fairfax county will pull him ahead. If he wins he’ll run for President because he’s a Clinton-Ite and they know Biden is weak and it puts them back in the spotlight

Trump won the machine precincts going away in Virginia. Stupid people never bothered to look at the vote totals.

It is very, very easy to see what happened in Virginia if you bother to just take a look at the precinct reports.

Trump won the machine precincts going away in Virginia. He “won” precincts that never vote for Democrats. (Look at the Ivy Precinct in fast growing Albemarle County).

First go here;

https://historical.elections.virginia.gov/elections/view/144567/

You will be able to examine the county/precinct level results. Go to Albemarle and look at the IVY precinct.

It shows that Trump “won” that precinct 49-47. Republicans never won that precinct. It’s in ultra liberal Albemarle County near Charlottesville and UVA.

John Frickin Kerry won this precinct in 2004 with 53% of the vote when Bush was carrying Virginia by 10 points. That’s how liberal this area is.

Now, notice the vote totals for the precinct. Only 1018 voters. In 2004 this precinct had over 2300 voters.

Do you believe that 1300 voters disappeared between 2004 and 2020? In a fast population growth area?

Nope. Not possible.

Now look at the central absentee precinct. OVER 43000 votes. Most of those were mail in votes.

In 2004 the absentee precinct had only 3300 votes.

Libtards voted by mail. The mail in ballots in Virginia weren’t allowed to opened and processed until election night. The Lynchburg voter registrar got her hand slapped for trying to start earlier.

So what you have on election night is the machine totals come in first showing this massive landslide for Trump and he is winning precincts that no Republican ever wins. However, a close look at the precinct data shows a lot of missing voters. Those are the mail in ballots.

The they get opened and counted and the mail in ballots start to get posted. The mail in vote everywhere was massively slanted left. THAT is how you get massive vote spikes on a graph. As these mail in ballots are fed into the system (77% of the Albemarle absentees went to Biden) you see the “lead” evaporate.

Far too many people are fixated on machines when the real problem was the mail in ballots.

We need to stop believing everything a grifter queer with a blog says.
