Any link or info you can direct me to regarding this? I’d like to check this out.
But it is best to research all sides of an argument, especially if it means we could be wrong:
They acrually published as “science” post hoc ergo propter hoc.
That article is the best possible proof AGW is NOT science. And that Scientific American is complicit.
Older study that sent geologists to the continental shelf:
Scientific American gets worse and worse as the years wear on.
>>Be thankful you don’t have to write news stories for a living.<<
You just make it up as you go. What could be easier? Yeah you have to shoehorn conflicting facts into narratives but they have been doing that since college.
Study that says previous studies on La Palma are unrealistic:

And DC?
I hope they will be wearing masks when it hits.
Isn’t Obama’s Martha’s Vinyard mansion only a few feet above sea level? Maybe time for Michelle and the kids to start rolling up the carpets.
Just a bit of a rumble, no problem that I can see, living more than 1000 miles inland and around 600 feet altitude.

Hey, if a tsunami reaches me here, it’ll be because something worse than a little underwater landslide in the Canary Islands has happened. ;^)
There is quite a population on LaPalma, as well as a world class observatory on top of the mountain. I would be interested in knowing how far off kilter the sensitive instruments at the observatory are being moved by all the seismic activity.
It’s hard for me to imagine a tsunami could hit the East coast with that much force from an island that small from across the Atlantic Ocean, but if it does occur sometime soon, we’ll see what happens.
I don’t think I’d want to be living there.
Yeah, not gonna argue with you. Broad brush? Yeah, maybe. But it’s piss poor writing to write “Huge explosion in Springfield. (Which Springfield?) Will affect the city’s primary industries! (Details?) A guy (A guy? Who??) told me told me it will be catastrophic! (Yeah? How??) Ahhhhh!! (Dude, this is expository writing. Learn the four W’s).
Okay, I believe we’re done here. :-)
Thank you!
Some prophecy writers believe both North & South America will be wiped off the map during the Trib in order for the End Times Gov’t to be able to handle the population better as the Lord moves the earth back to the “old world” (Middle East, Europe, and North Africa) for the final acts.
Maybe it’s a meteor?
Maybe a mega tsunami?
Maybe a super volcano?
Who knows?
Really scary!
Brewing!
DEVASTATING!
That’s an interesting read...thanks for posting.
