This country is a country of Laws not of men. This is why all elected officials take an oath to the Constitution of the United States not the president.
I don't think our country has ever been "unified" and the problem is the republicans falling for a fascist/Stalinistic ploy that we need ideological uniformity. The reason we are a federation of states with no official recognized religion [not even communism] is so that diversity of views and ways of living can exist.
I am not an Hasidic Jew, and I wouldn't want the lifestyle, nor Amish either. But if they want to practice their lifestyle in their place that is fine with me. Both groups have left me in peace to pursue my own views and interests. That is not what WokeAmerica [TM, Inc.] is trying to do.

The anger is a result of him slamming Trump with false accusations. Now maybe you agree with his assessment of Trump. Most of us don’t. But we do agree with his assessment of the military who surrendered in Afghanistan. Two different concepts. And his slander of Trump and his family looks suspiciously like an attempt to ingratiate himself with his superiors.
