Consider that all the states can effectively “secede” from the unconstitutionally big federal government by doing the following.

Patriots need to primary federal and state elected officials who don't send voters email ASAP that clearly promises to do the following.

Federal and state lawmakers need to promise in their emails to introduce resolutions no later than 100 days after start of new legislative sessions that proposes an amendment to the Constitution to the states, the amendment limited to repealing the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments.

Know this, the covid virus, now "in the wild" will be with us forever.

The highest vaccination rate is polio - at 92%. That is a well known, trusted vaccine.

Even with very high vaccination rates, corona viruses mutate and change. The vaccine you got this year will be worthless next year - witness the "delta variant." There will be continuing variants. Forever.

Ergo, if we're waiting for covid to go away, or we're waiting for a certain level of vaccination, or we're counting on a "one and one" vaccine - it ain't gonna happen.

For us it’s been “normal” for months now. But then, we went mostly “off grid” when I retired three months ago. As long as local businesses and my church don’t care about masks, it’s like there is no pandemic, just a lot of endemics, which there have always been.

I appreciate your sentiments, truly, but we're a country where a significant percentage of the people appear to be deathly afraid of what is, for the most part nowadays, a case of the sniffles. We're a long, long way from "brave" at this point.
