Just spoke with Pastor Artur Pawlowski. He is home and in good spirits. After being arrested yesterday, once he arrived in Canada, he reported to me that he was actually treated very well by the police and his bail hearing was expedited by the crown. He has been charged criminally with two counts. The first was for not wearing a mask and the second charge was for baptizing his daughter in public that created a public gathering which is apparently against the law. His hearing for these two criminal charges is October 13.
Wow. I guess the laws in Canada are way more harsh. Arrested for no mask. Sounds like Australia. At least they let him out.
