Maricopa County Supervisor Steve Chucri has announced his resignation from office effective November 5. Yesterday, The Gateway Pundit reported that Steve Chucri said the Maricopa County-led post-election audit was “bullsh*t”.
He also stated that his colleagues, Supervisors Bill Gates and Jack Sellers may just be afraid of an audit because they had close races.

I mean, that may be the hope. Starts you wondering: Why did he resign today? That sure raises the interest level over the next two news cycles.
A suspicious man might surmise it's to lawyer up or just get out of state to pursue other opportunities.

Given that the preliminary results that have been leaked about discrepancies in the vote tallies are already rather damning, his statement about there being no fraud is a bit disingenuous.
Interesting:
1) that Chucri is announcing this 2 days prior to release of the audit findings. What if the audit shows that everything was perfect, or had de minimus mistakes without deliberate wrong-doing? Him jumping ship at this late date is the most hopeful thing in ages. He getting out ahead of the story.
2) that Chuchi condemns the audit AND suggests two of his colleagues might not have won their own races. Evidently cheating the real winners was good, and the audit is at fault for catching the false result he assumes happened? Talk about having it both ways.
We’ve been disappointed so many times — I’m trying to talk myself into having zero expectations for Friday.

Released on a Friday so the story is dead by Monday, because it isn't really going to be all that earth shattering, and certainly won't do a damned thing to fix anything. This audit has given the Qtards something to desperately hold on to. I almost feel sorry for those types.

I didn’t understand this until I’d read the material at the link. Recording of him criticizing fellow Board members (implying they have opposed the audit because they might not have really won their own election races), and saying the BoS’s prior “audits” were worthless, are the reason he’s resigning. His statement “There was no cover-up” is strange.
I guess the massive stone-walling and evasion he went along with publicly doesn’t count as a “cover-up”.
Trump Rally in GA on Saturday. Anxious to watch his comments on it.
Probably needs to hightail it to a country with no extradition agreement with the U.S. before the audit results are released.
But it’s coming out a day before President Trump holds his rally in Georgia.
