PING!
How did the Hatians get to the border in the first place? How did they get if their island?
This is very dangerous. As someone who road for many years I can tell you, you lose hold of those reins and you got a problem. Reins are a great deal of the stopping power of all but the most trained horses. If a horse is spooked, your going for a ride until the walnut sized brain on that horse decided to stop. And if you lose a single rein, (in western tack their is a strap of leather on each side, so reins, not rein). You have a problem as well. This guy does not seem to have a problem grabbing a guy. So I think this is an uber trained police horse. Try this with a thoroughbred or a hunter jumper and life will get interesting pretty quick.
I still want to know why some dozens of black Haitians at the border is terrible but Latinos can come in droves.
Why are they trying to keep THEM from coming, but who cares about bed-bug infested Latinos during the allegedly awful pandemic?
Actually, look at first pix. Man on grey horse is holding UP something that seems firm. Like a crop at least….which seems to go out do the pix at top.
Second, western reins often are 2 piece, and can be long enough for slack to be used to “whip” (crop) the horse. So if you see some of the pix, yes, they can do such a thing.
However, even if technically they whip, it’s not the violent lashing the hand-wringing commies want everyone to think.
Political purposes much of the media.
Indeed lie spin repeat trust us not your eyes and ears.
If that was, indeed, a whip, then what’s the big deal? Whips are less likely to cause injury than other crowd-control weapons such as rubber bullets.
Looking at this photo, I see the rider having dropped the right hand rein in order to grab the illegal with his right hand. The rein is just moving freely and NOT being used as a “whip.”
