This is very dangerous. As someone who road for many years I can tell you, you lose hold of those reins and you got a problem. Reins are a great deal of the stopping power of all but the most trained horses. If a horse is spooked, your going for a ride until the walnut sized brain on that horse decided to stop. And if you lose a single rein, (in western tack their is a strap of leather on each side, so reins, not rein). You have a problem as well. This guy does not seem to have a problem grabbing a guy. So I think this is an uber trained police horse. Try this with a thoroughbred or a hunter jumper and life will get interesting pretty quick.

Man you ain’t kidding.

First time I rode a horse I was around 19.

Maybe the horse was just nervous or got spooked but that thing took off at a full gallop.

As far as that thing was concerned I wasn’t even there. I’ve had muscle cars, V8’s, jet take offs.

Nothing impressed me more as far as speed and power as being on a horse at full gallop.
