This pistol is tiny. And of course, it was designed this way with concealed carry in mind. The Glock 43 is remarkably small and can fit in pockets (or a safe) nicely as well as ankle holsters and bags of all sorts. This pistol is the perfect size for really any kind of way you want to carry it, but it does have its limitations.

diff between 43x and MOS? Saw one at Dons Weaponry in NOrth Little Rock and liked it. ALOT. BTW they have LOTS of guns and ammo.....ammo is expensive though.
G43 = stock 6 rounds...might as well have a titanium/sacandium .38/.357
G43x = 10 round standard.
I’ll keep my SIG 365.
All depends where one lives in the cooler areas of the country.
I carry full size handguns.
I gave up carrying small ones decades ago.
The smallest one I carry now is a Glock 23 most of the time a full size 1911 or my 6 inch model 24 Glock.
MOS is the “Multiple Optics System”, which is just a built-in interface for attaching things like a red dot sight. The MOS still has the standard Glock iron sights as well. I’m not sure how useful it is. After all, if the 43x’s purpose is to be a very small, concealable gun, putting a big RDS on top of the slide would seem to be counterproductive.
Well, that would be the 9x18 Makarov.. :)
Yep Im in Little Rock...hot and humid 3 months of the year and LOTS of tangos in the AO. Jail at 115% and 25 felons released from one (1) of our 11 prisons each day. Little Rock, per captia, is always one of the most violent/deadly cities in the nation. I think we are number 2 or 3 now, beating out Chicago, Newark, and Detroit.....per captia. THats why a handgun is used—————> to fight your way to your shotgun or AR.
NO! I had G43, tried a SIG p365 from someone at the range and sold my G43. Bought a 365 and have never looked back.
You can get 8 and 12 round extended magazines for the Glock 43. And you can switch mags much faster than you reload a revolver.
True but then it's a bit harder to conceal/carry.
I'm trading in my Glock 43 for a 43X just for the extra 4 rounds.
I’ll keep my SIG 938 with lazer. I like it cause it has a safety and my baby Glock does not.
Hides in a front pocket of my purse easily!
lassssssssssssssssser!!!!!!!!
I sold a Glock 43 and replaced it with an S&W Airweight.
But then, I think the “imagine yourself as a gunfighter” gun porn articles are mostly BS.
If I need more than five rounds, ten won’t be all that different.
Right.
But I'm not.
Are you?
Sig P365 standard with 10+1 with optional 12+1.
P365XL standard 12+1 with 15+1 option.
While Glocks are very good and there are many other good options on the market (to each his own), there is a growing number of Glock 43 fans who now EDC Sig 365s after side by side comparisons and some range time.
Don’t get me wrong. I still like Glocks (and many other reliable options, including revolvers). The reason there are so many options is the best EDC is the one that fits each individual.
Of course, since the boating accident I personally no longer have any options...
“Only a couple of jams in 1000 rounds”
Really?!? That’s bragging rights for reliability?
Maybe I’m lucky, but with thousands of rounds through my M&P 9 2.0 subcompact and have yet to have any sort of malfunction or jam.
Just bought one a few months ago. Went with the 365 XL MOS model. Very nice. Put a Houge grip on it. Like a glove.
