Oh what is to become of us? President Biden is a patient man, almost to the point of sainthood. But even as great and patient a man as our President has his limits, and we wayward and ungrateful children have strained the boundary of his serene forbearance beyond the limits any ruler of his magnificence should ever have to tolerate.

I fear there will be terrible consequences for all of us if we do not come to our senses, and soon.

When Biden said “our patience is running out,” I wondered if he was speaking on behalf of the vaccinated or using the “royal we.” I think you’re right, it was the latter.

He’s crazy. Everybody behind him is evil - meaning the people who hatch these plans - but he’s really crazy. He has always believed he has some special status that puts him above the law, justifies his amorality as the right of the ubermensch, and makes his every lie true just because he said it.

Now that he’s gotten as much power as it is possible for one person to get in this world, he’s going to use it to punish his enemies, just as any king who gets to the throne by dethroning another hunts and kills the first king’s allies or even subjects. And like any unrightful king, he’s insecure and fears the people, which he expresses by repressing them, trying to take away their livelihoods and property and anything that might give them the strength to fight back, and halting their every move as his paranoia grows.

Trump never thought of himself as a king, and most US Presidents have not seen themselves this way. Biden, dementia and all, does see himself this way and I think he’s just getting started.
