“Thrombocytopenia” implies that the risk might be monitored by platelet count testing say on the day before vaccination, day 3 after vaccination and day 10 after vaccination. This testing would be fairly cheap.

The shot that’s been rushed through FDO approval is not the shot currently being given. It is not yet available. All current shots are still EUA - and only because they refuse to test the actual recommended protocols. Imagine that.

I think in past history there were movements like the “blue flu” where entire precincts of police,firemen, garbage collectors, etc. were “out sick” for weeks at a time. And with the current COVID situation, I know that many people have built up significant amounts of paid vacation hours. This can be done without risking your job but still sending a strong message to governments and employers across the nation. But it requires organization and for many employees to band together to take their days off in unison.
