Of COURSE there are paid trolls on FR. There are on every conservative website that allows comments from the public. They used to be paid by Soros, now probably employed as regular FBI agents.

Do you remember “Art’s Parts”? I was on the artbellfans newsgroup predicting that the pieces would be genuine flying saucer artifacts, they would be man-made, from the earth, available in 1947 and they would be sinterized. Secession

It's time for us to jettison those who reject our national values because there's no changing them. Time to secede.

We should extend the invitation to secede on a county by county basis.

While we're at it, since we'd be forming a new country, we should extend the invitation to counties in Canada and Mexico as well.

Just the other day, I saw someone I knew in high school. She now lives in Texas. She reposted Howie’s comments and added “Yeah! Exactly what he said! Screw your freedoms! I want to get out and do what I want!” Yes, she got jabbed a while ago.

IOW, She wants HER freedom to go out and party with her (very likely Liberal) friends, but as far as MY freedom to not take the jab and STAY ALIVE go, I can go to Hell.

BBSs, the precursor to the Internet. I think FR used to be on a BBS dial-up modem.

Notably, Lee Felsenstein, the designer of the Osborne1, previously had designed the Pennywhistle modem.

I heard he designed the Osborne around 4,000 5inch oscilloscope screens he picked up on the surplus market. At the time, NO ONE had ever sold 4000 computers. When the time came for the upgrade, he couldn’t find anything suitable at even 3-4x the price so he was forced into a design corner.
