Surf Free or Die.
WIPE OUT!............................
I actually remember Wipeout in the Top 40................
“Charlie don’t surf...”
My motto regarding this whole thing: Give me liberty or give me death.
I’ve been living with it from day one the same way I live with the flu, the common cold, etc. And I’ve never had a flu shot.
I ignore it. The one really negative effect this whole thing has had on me is this: When I see someone in public CHOOSING to wear a mask when one is required, I lose a LOT of respect for them. This has impacted a lot of friendships. I don’t say anything. Rather, I just choose not to be around people with masks.
I felt the same way when, before this endemic, I used to see the occasional Asian wearing a mask in public. There are a few germaphobe’s out there. They have every right to be, just as they have the right to smoke. Doesn’t mean it’s smart.
one is required = NONE is required.
Sorry...
I remember all the surfers from HS late 60’s early 70’s.
They were the ‘cool’ people (hippy types), not the jocks or the nerds (me).
They went surfing every weekend and skipped school during the week when they could get away with it.
Had GPA’s in the lower digits.
Wonder where they all are now?....................
mega dittos here
Gee. It is almost as if they were reading this on the Internet or something.
Me too!
You know, I have always thought that movie was just funnier than Hell...and I love that scene...especially the look on the guy’s face he is talking to.
I know a lot of people hate that movie, but think it is because they view it as documentary...I have always viewed it as entertainment.
In the State Department.
The Panic Porn Industry wants to keep people afraid
Sadly Sleepy Joe is basing decisions on this fake reading of the data
You and I feel exactly the same way. Last year in August, I went up to northern Maine, and up there...people didn’t give a hoot.
You want to wear a mask? Fine. Don’t? Don’t really care.
Up there, you just wore one or not. Probably the same with vaccinations.
But when I see someone in public outdoors, in their car, riding a bike, jogging, WHATEVER...I mark them as an idiot. I try not to be judgmental, but...I simply cannot help it.
When I was a kid I lived in Japan for a few years back in the Sixties, and I remember seeing the flocks of elementary school kids in their uniforms, backpacks, beanies, and...face masks. I just found it weird then, but figured, “Well...I guess that is how they do it over here.”
Either giving out coffee at Starbucks, or they made millions selling “organic” products.
I know at least one of them joined the Merchant Marine Service so that he could ‘surf the world’......................
I was one of them. We are actually physicians, attorneys, architects, engineers and financial professionals. But we had a little fun along the way (and still do)!
