Around 17-18 years ago i trolled the leftist site Democratic Underground.
What I did was take passages from Hitler’s Mein Kampf. I replaced only certain keywords in these passages, leaving the rest alone.
For example, if the passage had the word “Germany”, I’d replace it with “America”. And if the passage had the words “Jews” or “Jewery”, I replaced those with “conservatives” and “conservatism”.
Then i watched for the correct threads to post the passages on. I didnt want to be off topic on any thread. So, if there was a thread on economics, Id post something from Mein Kampf on economics. Same thing with threads on politics, war, etc.
My comments were very well received. Many DUers replied, agreeing with me. One such long time DUer complimented me by saying I write just like Bill Clinton!
It took around a few dozen posts over a couple of weeks before someone finally caught on and I was banned and my comments were scrubbed from the website.
