Wikipedia notes that LTG Maria Gervais is currently deputy commanding general of and chief of staff of the United States Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), which, as the US Army explains that we, "recruit and train Soldiers, develop adaptive leaders, guide the Army through doctrine, shape the Army by building and integrating formations, capabilities, and materiel."

Before, Gervais was the Director of the Synthetic Training Environment Cross Functional Team. In case you're wondering, the US Army explains that the Synthetic Training Environment is "an emerging capability that will converge current live, virtual, constructive and gaming environments into a single simulation training environment" which "will keep pace with, and adapt to the rapid development of technologies."

And prior to that, Gervais was the Deputy Commanding General of the United States Army Combined Arms Center, which, as the US Army explains, "develops and integrates Army leader development, doctrine, education, lessons learned, functional training, training support, training development, and proponent responsibilities in order to support mission command and prepare the Army to successfully conduct unified land operations in a joint, inter-agency, inter-governmental, multinational environment."

Telltale signs left on their hands of eating jammydodgers and crumbs all over the place from digestives they had at tea. Giveaways.
