My past position was nothing but “diversity” promotions. Had one as a director who was afraid to go our labs because she was “afraid she was going to get electrocuted.” Needless to say, I’m no longer with these clowns. This country is a mess and it’s our fault.
Nothing new. During Nam, generals and other top brass would visit our site. They were told not to disturb the operators, and if they did the operators were authorized to defend their position. No random general was authorized to know what we actually did or access the traffic as most of it was SAP codeword.
One such numb-nuts general decided he wanted to hear what I was recording and transcribing, so he leaned over and took my earphones ; I doubt he ever got to hear anything, as I rose, turned and punched him square in the mouth sending him flying across the room spraying blood, then sat back down and continued working.
I could hear the sputtering general frothing, but all his aids told him he had been warned and there was nothing he could do, further, if he persisted he would face charges for accessing material he had no clearance to access. He was hurried away, missing the cheers and hi-fives.
