....something does not pass the smell test....
did she have a round in the chamber, and was it cocked?
if so, she is a moron and should not be allowed to get within a football field’s length from a handgun....
yeah, the gun went off all by itself....and it was in a holster, too....!!!!
You said, pretty much what I was thinking. If she had a round in the chamber, with the hammer back, yes, it could go off, but you would be right. She shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a handgun. 😀
A hammer? I thought Sig’s were striker-fired (like my P365).
I carry with one in the chamber at all times - usually in a pocket sleeve that well covers the trigger. And BTW, mine doesn’t have a manual safety.
Most firearms are meant to be safe to carry with one in the chamber and this isn’t the first P320 to have a problem with accidental firing. Should a class action lawsuit exempt a company from ALL future claims? Even from people who didn’t get the recall notice?
Why do you feel this is wrong?
There have been a number of cases with the 320 so I think it's a real issue.
“in March 2020, Sig Sauer settled a class-action lawsuit. The suit noted that P320s manufactured prior to August 8, 2017, did not have a mechanical disconnector”
Clearly you have the ability to use that tool in front of you.
Utter ignorance.
Agreed.
