I wonder if she is just looking for a million dollar retirement? I had a P-226.

....something does not pass the smell test....
did she have a round in the chamber, and was it cocked?
if so, she is a moron and should not be allowed to get within a football field’s length from a handgun....
yeah, the gun went off all by itself....and it was in a holster, too....!!!!

Doubtful, but always possible.

I also had a P226. Emphasis on the past tense.

I was on the combat pistol course range and suddenly a trigger pull failed to deliver. Took me a sec to realize that the trigger had become nonfunctional.

Range safety - a gunsmith - looked at it briefly and I finished the course with a Glock 23 (which I now own, but despise).

He later inspected it off the range and suggested that I dump it (the hint was both the weapon AND the brand). It would NOT fire.

I’ll never own a Sig again.

Dumb luck - or good fortune - that it happened on the range: Had I drawn that weapon in defense I could have been killed.

## I had a P-226

One of my favorites of all time. The stock grips feel like they were made especially for my hands. It is so comfortable, it is by far the most accurate handgun I’ve ever owned. Currently have a 225, 226, and 229
