I have two students currently masked in CA. One in a private high school and one in Cal State. My newest approach is to start telling people that students per the data just need to do lots of handwashing and avoid obesity. Forget the masks. Unless Newsom is recalled, I suspect both of my kids will be masked for the rest of their educational K-12 and college lives in CA. It’s the “new norm” and there is no end in sight.

“In many cases, insured patients are getting prices that are higher than they would if they pretended to have no coverage at all.”

This is why it is so difficult to buy health insurance because anyone who has used it knows there are differences in quality. Covered services for instance. We also know that Congress critters have the super deluxe plan and have probably never paid a medical bill in their lives.

I am currently being denied a medication that works after 5 have failed but it doesn’t qualify on my plan. So I would have to pay $ 458 a month for 30 pills. That’s more than my monthly premium.

Trump could do an entire book series called Vindicated…it would only be like 350 chapters at this point

In many cases, insured patients are getting prices that are higher than they would if they pretended to have no coverage at all.

That’s not news. I’ve told a doctor’s office that I don’t have coverage in order to get a lower cost. I asked about the price difference beforehand, and just told them to cut out the middleman and bill me directly.
