This is the same guy who said the virus was “just the flu”. How often does the flu cause “critical illness?” He is now worried about making the virus “worse”, but last year he was not worried at all, it was just the flu. He cites data from Israel which has only 10 million people. 4.7 billion doses of the vaccine have been administered. The data in Italy, Spain, UK, Germany and France (300mm total population) is that the death rate per infection is cut by 75% and the number of deaths is cut by 90% in every one of these countries which are just as “highly vaccinated” as Israel.
The case fatality rate in the US is still .8%, four times that of the flu. That is down from 2% in January because of the vaccines.

But Horowitz thinks 1) a disease that already killed 10 times as many people in the US as the flu, is not really dangerous 2) the vaccine which prevents it is actually dangerous despite the fact that 200 million people who have taken it in the US and there are no deaths caused by it

Death rate was around 0.3 before the vaccinations.
