Budesonide availability

I know speakwithanmd.com will prescribe Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine. Does anyone know for sure if they would also prescribe Budesonide, the steroid inhaler that has been shown to help with Covid. Or does anyone know another US based online source? Thanks.

Don’t know but I have stocked up on it because my son needs it for his asthma. When it came out that it was effective for treating COVID, I have been filling every script.

Mayo Clinic:
This medicine may cause serious allergic reactions,
including anaphylaxis, which can be life-threatening
and requires immediate medical attention.
The most serious signs of this reaction are
very fast or irregular breathing,
gasping for breath, or fainting.

I don’t know either, but my local Walmart has been out of both of the non-prescription, non-steroidal, but similar purpose, Bronkaid and Primatine for at least three months.

It looks like a prescription is required at the site—am I missing something?

If you are sick enough to need the steroid inhalers you really need to be seeing a doctor, and probably be in a hospital. I would spend the time to find local doctors who will treat COVID-19 using the best known approaches as a part of your preparations.

A friend has Covid bad right now. She’s using (prescribed} Dexamethasone in a nebulizer. It took 3 trips to the emergency room to finally get some meds and a script for oxygen.

You can buy Dex for cattle but I don’t know the dosage for humans. I know several farmers and ranchers who use it regularly for Gout.

And, as usual, you can buy it in Mexico w/o a prescription. I put my husband on a pill from Mexico that has Dex, an Nsaid and a muscle relaxer, all in small doses. He takes it every third day and hasn’t had any anaphylactic shock episodes or any gout in 2 years. The Dex in that pill is .5 mg..

i use Flovent (fluticasone propionate) because i passed out and collapsed after taking a single puff of Budesonide ... when i called medical center to complain, they said “oh yeah, that happens sometime; you should take something else.”
