The matrix decodes the placement of the markings and reveals the precise identity of the printer by serial number along with the exact date and time the document was printed I was Printer Guy for my IT department at a university back in the day.

Please stop with the NEVER ENDING series of advance notices of imminent release of BOMBSHELL NEWS… bombshells that almost always end up being DUDS.
If there is a true “bombshell”…hell, just release it with no advance warning and pleasantly surprise us. These CLICKBAIT ALERTS get VERY TIRESOME!
PKEASE.

I always assumed it was easy to tell simply IF a document had been produced on a laser printer, by the properties of the toner itself if nothing else.
So this technique is an extra step that pins down exactly WHICH printer was used and what date was in the printer.

Machine Identification Code "Developed by Xerox and Canon in the mid-1980s, its existence became public only in 2004. In 2018, scientists developed privacy software to anonymize prints in order to support whistleblowers publishing their work."
Consider the implications on elections since then, and on what Federal Law Enforcement choose to look at or not, when they could investigate the 2020 elections with ease.

Been trying to tell freepers about this for years. This print ID technology has existed since the 1980s.

These codes have been in ALL printers going back to Dot Matrix printers, about 35 years now that I know of, maybe longer

Are all ballots supposed to have these?
Didn’t think all commercial printers used them.
Will have to break out my black light and look at my recall Gavin Newsom ballot…..
