What does thoroughly modern Gen Milley have to say about this?

Just like the South Vietnamese....collapsed like a house of cards when we left.

That’s okay. The truly important thing is that our military is actively antiracist and supportive of sexual minorities.
Gen. Mark Milley says so.

The ARVN (S. Vietnamese Army) lasted much longer than that after we left.

We see the same thing time and again. We train an army, provide it with state of the art equipment and the fight quite well - as long as there are U.S. troops fighting along side them. Then, when the U.S. decides they’re able to stand on their own two and we leave they crumble and fall apart. And it becomes a race to the rear. Happens over and over. But, we keep doing it and they keep doing it 🙄….

In the DC Swamp that’s a great deal. It means we should have stayed there another 20 years and pissed away another $150 billion there.

There is speculation that the Taliban will control the capital before 9/11.
Today China sent airplanes into Taiwan airspace. Could China strike at about the same time?

How much of that $88 Billion ended up lining the pockets of connected U.S. contractors and people like James Biden.

It didn’t help that they evacuated (migrated) every Afghani that worked with us, leaving an even more helpless population behind.

Well it seems some of the afghan trainees learned to shoot a little. It seems we had many stories we were losing American forces at an alarming rate to the afghans shooting their American battle buddies and training cadre quite often.

Problem was not training the Afghan Army the mission should have been the total destruction of the Taliban their means and will to resist. Oh wait! That was the mission statement during WWII. Guess I am just getting old and not up to date on the woke Army missions of today.

Every penny of taxes paid across the lifetimes of 167,000 US taxpayers were funneled into that effort. Are you one of them?
