My point, which I didn’t make clear, is that the country, and other nations, are incapacitated by the threat of a virus released by a hostile nation. Is it being used by elites? Yup.

I understand your point. But fear, not the virus itself is being used incapacitate. If it were not for all the fake numbers, fake statistics, breathless reporting, power grabbing politicians and petty agency tyrants this thing would be considered just another annual flu variant... Calling it a “bioweapon” which has a connotation that makes people more fearful is aiding the enemy.
