Not all Korean BBQs are that good. I went to one in Columbus, GA, and the food was all laid out already, and was dry and not too flavorful. I’ll have to try a better one. Must be plenty here in Phoenix.

What is the difference between a Chinese BBQ and a Korean BBQ. In Chinese, the meat is cat. In Korean, the meat is dog.

Columbus, GA. That might have been the problem right there. Perhaps you need to check out a larger metropolitan area. Here in Broward County we have lots of Koreans. In fact, just walking distance from me is what I believe to be the biggest Korean grocery store in the South. They have really great stuff there.

We just moved to Arizona! Can you recommend any good restaurants in/around Phoenix?

The more members of an ethnic community there are in a given area, the better the restaurants serving that ethic community's food will be. They might be able to get the mediocre stuff past outsiders, but not past their own people.
