In all honestly, I am all for purging the teacher workforce. It has nothing to do with race. It has to do with teacher literacy and indoctrination. Our children and grandchildren would be much better served by teachers that do not have degrees in education, but rather degrees in hard science and mathematics. Obviously, anyone with a real college degree should be able to teach English and history at a k-12 level. I know for a fact that homeschool parents do it every day. (I was one.) Additionally, teachers in 7-12 classrooms should have had a real job in the private sector. Imagine the resource for children to be around a variety of people that have actually worked for a living.
Church’s Chicken is GREAT down here in Alabama. The white or black staff calls everyone Honey, Suga, sir, ma’am or friend.

The Black community board wanted to fire all the White teachers and replace them with Blacks. Teachers Union (the UFT) went on strike. (The UFT was different then, had a middle-of-the road Democrat as leader - Albert Shanker.)
All the limousine liberals (Mayor John Lindsay, the NYTimes) supported the Black community board. But the NYC unions, e.g., the police, the firefighters, supported the teachers.
Teachers Union had a picket line in front of the NYTimes, and the firefighters would honk their horns as they went by.
Nixon was running for President, and he supported the teachers.
Teachers union won out.
