This action is illegal because the government does not have the right to force an owner to provide an apartment without compensation. Doesn’t matter if the supremes said anything or not.
This action is theft and forcing into slavery.
So, if someone owns an apartment and the tenant does not pay, the owner cannot evict. We should have seen this coming. The left hates it when someone owns something. The government wants to own everything. The country is becoming communist in giant steps.
Rent “control” laws are invalid, as are minimum/maximum prices and mandated minimum hourly rate of pay, affirmative action, minority preferences.

Not an attorney, but seems to me all one would have to do would be to file with any court seeking an order. Simple as that, but of course everyone is cowering to the political pressure.
How do we recover? Realistically, will these people ever be forced to pay rent or their mortgage? And who will make landlords whole for all the lost rent going on two years now?
