Somewhat mild case.
Headache, sore throat, bronchitis, unproductive cough.
My life hasnt changed but everyone else’s did.
Had it in early December. started with dry cough. Tested positive the next day. Low grade fever for 5 days. Highest, the third day, was 100.7. Took quercetin and zinc immediately at onset and continued for five days. Fever broke fifth day and lost taste and smell for two days (the 5th and 6th). Felt fine after the fifth day. Was cleared by my State from quarantine after 10 days from onset. Lost 8 lbs. and lethargic for a while. Memory could be waning a bit but I’m 75. Tested negative after 30 days. At this point, I have not been vaccinated and don’t plan on getting the jab.
I would love to read about people’s vaccine experiences.
Spouse and I have not had the shot but have been considering it. I’ve been getting harassed by a friend to get the shot and also harassed by a relative to abstain from getting the shot.
Currently I have some Ivermectin “for my horse.”
I have a friend who is an MD who assured me he could get me some ivermectin pills if we get sick.
Three friends have had it.
One had a clogged lung. 10 days in hospital. 10 weeks later he is back to work but goes home totally wiped out.
One has a variety of nerve system problems, including heart rate and body temperature control 6 months after infection.
One has heart rate issues and has to limit exertion 9 months after infection.
My wife and my father in law that is 83 all had it in September last year. It was hard on dad but he survived because I refused to have him hook up to a ventilator.
Came in contact with COVID while taking care of friends that had Covid and it never got me sick again.
Dad is turning 84 and still runs around. He had cancer, diabetes and heart disease but still survived. I took care of him at home mostly until he needed an IV for pneumonia.
Wife and I (61y/o) had it. Fever on day one, took Ivermectin immediately, fine the next day. No other symptoms. No respiratory issues, lungs clear, no cough. Test confirmed we were Covid positive. I can’t recommend Ivermectin highly enough. Also took zinc, quercetin, Vitamins C,and D. Still take these, except quercetin, as part of daily regimen.
I had two Pfizer shots, no reaction, except for a sore arm. Almost of everyone I know who got the jab had no adverse reaction, except for one friend, who after the first jab(moderna) had no reaction, but after the second jab, said he was very ill for about 8 hours.
Hi.
My wife’s boss was vaccinated two months ago and guess what? He’s got the Rona. Oh, and here’s the kicker, he has to quarantine for 10 days. And the First lady has to work an eight hour day every day!
Sheesh.
Why get the vaccine if you have to quarantine?
5.56mm
did any of them get ivermectin?
Don’t know.
Exposed twice I know of and caught it once. In October last year my oldest son called and said go get tested I’m positive. At the time I thought I had a sinus infection starting up. All the symptoms were the same and the dr called in antibiotics and steroids. I tested positive along with my oldest son, daughter, her three year old and her fiance. My wife slept in the same bed, used the same bathroom and was home with us in quarantine the entire time and has been tested six times since and no covid.
My son and daughters fiance said it felt like a stuffy nose as her fiance said like a nasty bugger hung deep in your nose. Both lost smell/taste for months, just now got them back. My daughter lost her smell/taste for one day and essentially laid on the couch in my home/office for a day and then she was up and about. The three year old never slowed down for thirty seconds, nothing, no symptoms, fine.
I had diminished taste and smell for a couple of days but did not lose them. I had to be right upon something and inhale deeply but could smell and taste. The worst part for me was a nagging bitch of a headache for a week. Tylenol would take the edge off but not kill it.
My nephew was in a couple of weeks ago and he is a pharmacist and was jabbed in January. Late last week he was diagnosed with covid after taking Moderna shot. So far no one who was around him has caught it including his wife and their twin newborns.
I had it starting November 13th of 14th and I declared myself okay on December 1st of 2020. I have been sick but I was never sick so long. On Thanksgiving Day I started spitting up blood and went to the emergency room and they told me I had pneumonia in both lungs and that it was covid pneumonia. I went home and continued my rest. I ate a lot of chicken soup, vitamin C, vitamin D, quercetin, and just tried to stay hydrated. I have been sicker but I have never been sick for so long.
Son’s wife got the shots and was down for the count for two weeks. As long as the vax has no long term effects, she’s good to go.
Elderly woman next door got the virus. She’s okay now. Says it was my cooking. LOL
I don’t know anyone else who has had the virus in the US.
Had physical contact while working with friend the beginning of Dec 2020. Tested positive. Tested positive twice more. Then tested negative. My friend died of Covid-19 in hospital mid-December. I never had detectable symptoms. I had the Moderna vax Mar&Apr 2021.
My real question is: Did I have Covid? I tested positive, but no or minor symptoms.
I fly cargo internationally. I got it in China Feb 2020. It was about 4 weeks of chronic fatigue and chest tightness. Got it again in the UK April 2021. Was less than a mild cold, although I lost taste and smell for 10 days. Overall, I’d much rather have COVID than the flu or even a bad cold.
Body aches. Tremendous back and neck pain. Sinus/nasal distress (could be simply aggravation of a long-running low-level sinus infection I have). Cough that persisted for some days. Fever was minor and didn't last long - one evening of chills. Shortness of breath. Longer-term effects on cardiovascular conditioning - I suspect some lung damage occurred that will take a while to heal. It is getting better with regular gym time.
But two days after my worst day I was putting away a very heavy Christmas tree and decoration boxes with no particular problems. No vaccines before or since (and never will be). No COVID testing, other than for antibodies. I had been taking Vitamin C, D, Zinc and Sambucol on a regular basis - I know that helped a lot.
For young people it's a cold. I was 56 and not in great cardiovascular shape and it still wasn't much - like a case of the flu but not by any means the worst one I have ever had.
The vitamins are key - stay on them and one has little to worry about.
The muscle aches went away after a few days, the headache and fever after about 7-10 days, but the cough and fatigue lasted 3 weeks. I never had sneezing, runny nose, loss of taste/smell, or digestive issues. I had mild SOB climbing stairs. I was 66 then with mild HBP and a BMI under 25.
No one was testing at the time in AZ except hospitals. I called the BCBS nurse line and she said it sounded like Covid and to quarantine at home for 2 weeks unless I had SOB, but frankly I had no desire to go anywhere at the time. I’ve never been tested for Covid but I had the prick antibody test a couple weeks ago and it was negative, which the pharmacist said would happen since it had been 17 months since I had the virus. Hubby never got sick other than possible conjunctivitis for about a week, which was mentioned as a possible Covid symptom at that time. Neither one of us has gotten sick in the 17 months since March 2020.
You had what I had. Now a big cheer for natural immunity. Stay clear or the Bill Gates jab, just wait till the vaxed get hit with next years flu/ cold. Be strong!
