The beheaded body of a Minnesota woman was found on a sidewalk in Shakopee, a suburb of Minneapolis, on Wednesday.
On Thursday, the Shakopee Police Department identified the victim as 55-year-old America Mafalda Thayer of Shakopee. The police department said they responded to a report of an attack at the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Spencer Street at around 2:31 p.m. on Wednesday.
Shakopee Police announced they have arrested a suspect, 42-year-old Alexis Saborit, also of Shakopee, on suspicion of second-degree murder.
Saborit is being held in the Scott County Jail, pending murder charges.
Shakopee Police Chief Jeff Tate told Bring Me The News that a bystander captured the brutal attack on video and shared it on social media.

There is something weird with the Twitter video the bystander took.
The video shows a thin male dumping a woman’s body out of a car and picking her head up off the ground.
The people mentioned in the police report don’t look anything like the people in the video.
Google Maps street view of that corner narrows down which house it is and the street markings, shrubs, and type of window on the side of the house all appear to match.
Does not appear to be ROP. Perp in custody has priors. So does the victim.
Still no clear idea what their photos don’t match the video.
Good grief, the murderer was out on bail for another crime.
A bystander took a video of it and posted it on social media, WTF, we’ve lost our humanity.

This is just one more of countless examples that confirm beyond all doubt that we no longer live in a civilized country. I’m referring not to the murderer but to the fact that in any truly civilized country that beast would be tried, convicted, and publicly HANGED within hours of his apprehension. Instead he’ll be mollycoddled by the criminal justice system, and eventually put back on the streets to behead someone else. DISGUSTING!
