Yet another day of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy passively taking abuse and ridicule from House Majority Leader and doing nothing about it except flap his mouth.
Republican voters are witnessing the spectacle of a Republican leader that punished Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene by removing her from House committee assignments because DEMOCRATS complained about Greene's "rhetoric" and now McCarthy refuses to remove Cheney Who openly insults him and Republicans in general. Whet is the only difference in the outcome of these two situations? The difference is that Pelosi wanted Greene gone and wants Cheney to stay. McCarthy works for Pelosi - he' is nothing but "controlled opposition" to give Republicans the illusion of choice.
Nancy Pelosi today publicly called McCarthy "a moron" for criticizing the reinstitution of a mask mandate in the House of Representatives. What makes this even funnier and more tragic is now we get to see that moron wear his mask like a little bitch while flapping his useless mouth. We know McCarthy will wear his useless, token mask of submission because he has already surrendered to Nancy Pelosi.

Consider how much the leftist agenda progressed in the last 20 years - gay marriage, open sex public restrooms, gays in the military, transgender library reading to children, abortion on demand, open borders, resettlement of covid infected illegals in small town America, critical race theory taught in the public schools, Confederate statues and monuments destroyed, lockdown of the country over a virus that kills much less than 1%, mandatory experimental viruses dictated by government and employers, suppression of free speech on social media platforms, the largest deficits in our nation’s history, rising inflation, the rise of China as a superpower, the deindustrialization of America, military leaders speaking out against their commander in chief with no consequences, multiple impeachments of a sitting president for opposing the agenda, Republican leaders openly opposing a Republican president, possibly the greatest election heist US history, rapidly rising crime, etc., etc.,.
McCarthy CAN’T remove Cheney from Piglosi’s “committee.” It is her committee and Cheney accepted Piglosi’s invitation.
McCarthy can’t unilaterally remove or expel Cheney from the GOP House Conference. It takes a 2/3rds vote of the entire conference to do so.
The GOP DID remove Cheney from her leadership role in the conference (which took a 2/3rds vote).
We don’t have a strong whip system like the UK. Members are free to be a thorn in the side of their party.
Manchin and Sinema have been a somewhat of a thorn in Schumer’s side in the Senate. He is likewise powerless.
Keep her talking maybe we’ll get lucky and she’ll suck in a ton of COVID
Then call for a vote. Let's see who earns support in 2022 and who needs to be primaried along with Cheney.
McCarthy, like all Republican politicians, is a pussy.
Just remove him as leader.
But when considering going after his seat, ponder who might replace him from CA.
McCarthy is better than Hastert, Boehner or Ryan. Maybe the best since Gingrich, who was far from perfect himself.
A party or a caucus can't kick somebody out of the party or the caucus. That gets done through primaries, though the campaign committee could cut someone's funding, I suppose.

The first question Republicans should ask themselves is, “what’s the expected outcome of trying to be reasonable with an unreasonable adversary?” They just hate rocking the boat, while the Democrats are running it onto the rocks.
