Mr. b called me in to see the rerun of Simone falling off the mat. Not just out of bounds but off the blue edging and onto the floor. That caused snickers. Somehow, (cough, black and USA) she’s in the finals.

I, too haven’t watched the games or Hollyweird award shows since we were able to get more than one black and white channel.

I usually watch the Olympics and have enjoyed some of the competition so far. Only slight complaint this year was the low energy, low T, low excitement opening ceremony. Boring.

I never thought I would root against “American” athletes. Haven’t watched any and been happy to see the losses.

The reason for airgun competitions in the Olympics is that alot of countries do not allow firearms.

It is a way for marksmen from those countries to compete, the fundamentals are the same (sight picture, trigger control, breathing).
