The walls close in on Fauci

I tried. Lord knows I tried.

I tried to believe Anthony Fauci. As a member of the medical community, I wanted to believe Anthony Fauci but his inconsistencies started aggravating me. Things he said just weren't holding water. Eventually the posturing and lies were too much.

I was irritated with his support of WHO head Tedros who assured us in January 2020 that COVID was not transmissible person to person. Tedros just swallowed what China told him and it cost an untold number of lives as nations were not able to take appropriate action.

Let's not forget that somehow Fauci knew that Trump was going to face a disease outbreak.

Anthony S. Fauci, MD, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said there is “no doubt” Donald J. Trump will be confronted with a surprise infectious disease outbreak during his presidency.
Let's review "Gain of Function"
Certain gain-of-function studies with the potential to enhance the pathogenicity or transmissibility of potential pandemic pathogens (PPPs) have raised biosafety and biosecurity concerns, including the potential dual use risks associated with the misuse of the information or products resulting from such research.
In 2011 Fauci wrote that Gain of Function was "worth the risk"

It's fun and games until people die. A pause was placed on Gain of Function research in 2014. The pause was lifted by the NIH in 2017 (you know, when Trump was President).  And then

But just last year, the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the organization led by Dr. Fauci, funded scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and other institutions for work on gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses.
Fauci would deny this but yesterday Rand Paul nailed him to the wall

Paul was so effective in pinning Fauci down that even a Washington Post columnist agreed

“Hey guys,@RandPaul was right and Fauci was wrong. The NIH was funding gain of function research in Wuhan but NIH pretended it didn’t meet their ‘gain of function’ definition to avoid their own oversight mechanism,” Josh Rogin, a columnist for the Washington Post, said Tuesday.
Fauci was desperately trying to split hairs to avoid culpability. Paul was having none of it
“And yet, gain-of-function research was done entirely in the Wuhan Institute … and was funded by the NIH,” Paul said, citing a Wuhan Virology paper entitled, “Discovery of a Rich Gene Pool of Bat SARS-Related Coronaviruses” and detailing the claims made in the paper. Paul went on:

In this paper … she credits the NIH and lists the actual number of the grant that she was given by the NIH. In this paper, she took two bat coronavirus genes, spiked genes, and combined them with a SARS-related backbone to create new viruses that are not found in nature.

He continued (emphasis added):

These lab-created viruses within to shown to replicate in humans. These experiments combine genetic information from different coronaviruses that infect animals but not humans to create novel artificial viruses able to infect human cells. Viruses that in nature only infect animals were manipulated in the Wuhan lab to gain-the-function of infecting humans. This research fits the definition of the research that the NIH said was subject to the pause in 2014 to 2017 — a pause in funding on gain-of-function. But the NIH failed to recognize this, defines in a way, and it never came under any scrutiny.

Indeed.

Fauci grasped at straws

Sadly, the worst one of history’s biggest mass murderers will get is ‘forced retirement’ with full benefits and a monthly check bigger than any of us will earn in a lifetime to supplement his CNN consultant salary and book royalties.

Fauci as a martyr would be even more insufferable.

Fauci is a high paid political hack, taking whatever steps he needs to take, telling whatever lies he needs to tell, all for the purpose of saving his own skin.

This is the first time since early in the AIDS epidemic that Fauci has been under public scrutiny. He didn’t do well back in the 90s and he is not doing well now. The guy frankly seems like a bureaucratic sociopath of little integrity and limited scientific expertise.

The current COVID vaccine is supposed to protect you from the next virus that will soon be released by the CCP.

Fauci helped them develop a virus that can kill based on race. The current COVID virus was not fully developed to kill only based on your DNA. The COVID was an experimental man-made virus that prematurely escaped from WUHAN BEFORE the CCP was able to provide an antidote for ONLY the Chinese people. They have one now.

Fauci knows about all of this since he helped fund the research to produce these killer viruses based on race.

It’s right out of a mad scientist, Joseph Mengali type evil, except it’s for real.

Why President Trump never fired this guy is a mystery to me.....still not gettin’ it

All the Karens loved him. They'd tune into his press conferences like he was Oprah.

Trump probably figured he didn't want to have to deal with a bunch of screaming Karens with all the other stuff on his plate.

I didn’t believe him from day one. It just had that smarmy look about him that said he knew it all. And, we were unwashed and didn’t know anything.

“I expect Dr. Fauci to be completely immune from any negative consequences”

Lois Lerner, James Comey, and Jamie Gorelick are all enjoying their large Federal pensions in retirement.

You are presupposing that the current COVID is real, and not a matter of hospitals simply declaring all their flu cases, respiratory diseases, and deaths among the elderly and morbidly obese as COVID, so they could make thousands of dollars from the government on each patient.

With leftist media and politicians taking it from there.

I wonder at that as well. Word it that Trump wanted to fire Fauci, but was told that “he really couldn’t”. I suppose that means the legality of firing a long-serving GS employee might be challenged, but that would never have stopped Obama. So I guess it comes down to “The Media will kill you if you fire this guy”.

I would have fired Fauci in a heartbeat as soon as Fauci started opining about what public policy should or shouldn’t be. *BOOM* You’ve exceeded your authority! See ya!

“The guy frankly seems like a bureaucratic sociopath of little integrity and limited scientific expertise.”

They had a term for that after the Nuremburg Trials... “The Banality of Evil.” What the interrogators were amazed at was how ordinary these Nazi henchman were and how easily they justified their actions.

“If the CCP wants to kill ALL white people or All black people, they can now do it unless you get the vaccine.”

They’d want to eliminate useless eaters. Not worker bees. Pick the race, or sex, or age...

I heard Peter Navarro on newsmax a couple weeks ago say he was begging Trump to fire Fauchi but he refused.

Apparently Navarro saw way back what trouble this guy was gonna be.

I heard that same interview. Trump like to delegate. It was one of his strengths as a business manager, but his instincts failed him in critical areas during COVID. His failure to fire Fauci when he was going thru Whitehouse staff like so many pairs of dirty socks is particularly baffling.

I hate to admit this, but sometimes other people’s cognitive dissonance moments and meltdowns are fun to watch.

I know a LOT of people who bet it all on Fauci.

And from them, I also have heard of a few who lost it all because of the virus plandemic crisis and lockdowns.

They are all “true believers”, too, and with political purity have looked down on my foolish conspiracy thinking and hick science.

Yep … I hate to admit it, but sometimes it’s kinda fun to watch.

However, I never will say “I told you so”, because they never shut up long enough to give me a chance to tell them anything the first time. Lol

Because they know everything, because they watch the news and when ALL the media channels expect Fox report the exact same thing, it must be true.

So, now I’ll have to be patient and wait for them to tell me what the truth is.

And then try not to laugh out loud while rolling on the floor … in my mind, of course.

The world is a serious place, but each day is a blessing and I enjoy those moments of humor whenever and wherever I find them. Perspective is everything.

But he said...."I have never........"

Hmmmm....I remember someone else pointing his finger and saying....."I have never....."

Lying to Congress is a crime...whether under oath or not.

But aren’t all the current vaccines mRNA? Sinovac the one developed by the Chinese is a traditional vaccine (one that contains inactive Covid-19 viruses)
