On January 29 of 2018 the NIH lifted the funding pause for gain of function research. This is a video of Fauci discussing resumed gain of function research, funded through a program called P3 CO.
How does/did COVID benefit Fauci?
He needs to be arrested, charged (no bail), tried, convicted, and executed...
Ego obviously. But, I've read, also patents on processing and testing Coronaviruses.
Seems to me that his “patents” could easily be researched via the US patent office. This would make for the best argument yet for Fauci to explain.

That his response to the questions was to attack Rand Paul is telling. If all you can say is “you don’t know what you’re talking about” then you obviously are just mincing words and know you’re lying.
It doesn’t matter if Rand does or doesn’t, by the definitions he has, from Fauci, it’s perfectly reasonable to report to DOJ as a criminal matter.

Saw a video of Rand Paul and Fauci on Hannity last night. Fauci appeared to be rattled and upset. I suspect he’s beginning to feel mortal again.

I suspect with encouragement from his dear friend Hillary, this was a Fauci’s attempt to disrupt the incredible successes of the Trump administration.
Rand Paul never said that the SARS-CoV-2 virus was the direct result of research the NIH funded. Senator Paul was simply making the point that the NIH was funding gain of function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
A better question to ask is "how does/did COVID benefit Fauxi's Rat Party puppet masters?"
None of these things can be true. Every democrat I know either has never heard of them, or if they have autonomically ignore and/or dismiss them

The CDC can patent stuff now. Don’t know about the NIH.
The CDC can also take donations from the likes of Gates and Soros. The CDC is royally screwed up these days.
The CDC defends itself by saying that there is a difference between the CDC, versus the CDC Foundation.
It is the foundation that receives donations from non-governmental sources.
Such a distinction is minimal as funding of research is accomplished by both organizations.
All biologic and viral research is dependent on funding and funding sources,
which is why you don't hear any loud hue and cry from research professionals about Fauxxi, or the *vaxxine*.
They don't want their (funding) source to cancel them, since there is little difference between the CDC and its $$ foundation, they rely on them for their research income.
While in theory, they supposedly are distinct entities, they have interlocking directories and officers, as is common in corporate businesses.
The CDC and the CDC Foundation are now financial and interlocking political entities as is common now in this regime.
