Another point that needs to be made is that restoring Trump at this point, even if the GOP had the backbone to do the right thing, is not necessarily the best outcome for us.

Nearly a full year of his second term is already lost (it will take him 3-6 months minimum to put together a staff and get things back on track). Then through at least early 2023, he will be dealing with a hostile Congress that will block his every move and impede him as much as possible. While the Democrat majority is slim, there are still enough RINOs in the mix to form a solid anti-Trump majority within the Congress.

So at best, Trump will get two years in his second term in which to be effective.

Would be much better to leave this clown show in the White House for now and expose them for the cheats that they are. In the meantime, we must continue pressuring the states to conduct honest elections.

This should result in a MAGA tidal wave in 2022 and set the stage for a triumphant Trump return in 2024 in which he will have a full term with a much more supportive Congress.

The only downside here is that Trump will be nearing 80 years of age in 2024. He may decide to just retire from the scene and play some golf. Who could blame him?

You're neither a chess player or strategist, because you obviously are too lazy to contemplate removing the most recently elected Democrats (and RINOs) by quo warranto due to UNLAWFUL elections. So all your pessimistic wool-gathering has no basis, does it?

I think that if China attacks Taiwan, your argument will turn out to be quite wrong.

The chances of China attacking Taiwan are greatly enhanced with Joe the idiot pretending to be in charge.

If Trump were to be reinstated to the Pesidency, that would be unusual. What would prevent the additional unusual step of extending his term so that it ran a full four years? Or to the nearest Election Day, if we deem it essential that voting on that specific day (which we have abandoned anyway)?

I'm discounting naysayers that he can not be reinstated because this kind of issue has taken place in other countries many times. They're all ignoring the fact the constitution is a contract. Thus this a contract between the states which the states must resolve together. What is written into constitution applies to none fraudulent terms of the contract.

I agree with most of what you said that reinstating Trump with a hostile congress would not be good.

Two points
1. Optics. Not signing in the legal president and no charges against the criminals sets up a precedence of acceptance of criminality when it has to do with our elections.

"So at best, Trump will get two years in his second term in which to be effective.
2. If trump only has six months left when this is resolved he must be reinstated for optics if nothing else. A term is 4 years which he wouldn't be president for the 4 years. He can run again in 2024.

Another way the election could be nullified for a re-election.

If Trump returns because of election fraud he won’t be the only one. Numerous House and Senate elections will be overturned as well. We will have both houses and the best potus since Reagan.
