DemonCratss never got the doomsday vaccine. They assumed they will get useful treatment or preventative medications. This delta/delta + variant jumped their protocol. That’s my opinion and why the the less deadly new variant is in the news. If your chances went from zero to 0.08% you would freak out but more importantly you spousal unit + children would now have some skin in the game.
My story and I’m sticking to it. Probably BS but that’s ok. Hope the power brokers have to worry. What’s funny is they are always protected they never get a chance to learn risk behavior. Now they is scared. More so because they are kitty cats. (I didn’t say pussies). Do I get a cookie?

The vaccine makes antibodies in advance - let’s call them the Dallas Cowboys.
The virus has the body make more copies of itself - let’s call them the Washington Redskins.
The Redskins would have an easy time running the ball down the field if there were no Cowboys already.

The science of vaccination has two centuries of great but not 100% success behind it.
Vaccines are sort of like policing. The bad guys often get away with crime at first. But if more cops are on the beat, the tougher it will be for the bad guys. Vaccinations put lots of antibody cops on the beat before the bad guys(Covid particles) commit the crime of body infection of the vaccinated person, helping nab bad guy body invaders sooner.
Vaccination is a well accepted medical practice - for a reason - it gets good results.
The percentage of US doctors vaccinated is close to 100% and not 0%.
