Unvaccinated and partially vaccinated Americans, the groups most vulnerable to Covid, are the least concerned about the more contagious Delta variant, according to a CBS News poll.
While 48 percent of "not fully/not vaccinated" respondents in the poll released Sunday said they were concerned about the Delta variant, 72 percent of fully vaccinated Americans are worried.

And Israel just released data showing that having the virus protects you much, much better than the vax. And the vax is less effective against the Delta.
So...best bet is to go ahead and get the Delta, if you don’t already have one foot in the grave. Then you have more robust, lasting immunity.

Our health system was overloaded. The measures that we were told to take, and that we took, worked to normalize the system. Without them, the Javits Center and the ship would have been utilized.

Maybe it just shows the age divide - older people most likely to get vaccinated and most likely to worry about their grown children or grandchildren because their legacy is at stake, while younger people still think they’re ten feet tall and bulletproof
A puppy has to have a series of parvo vaccinations before being considered fully vaccinated by vets and health officials dealing with health certificates.
Since you can still have a full-blown case of COVID even after completing the vaccination process, is one every really vaccinated even after the boosters?

Um...it’s a CBS poll...it’s about as believable as Elvis sighted on Mars.
The Delta variant is 99.7% identical to the original from 2020. Why fear it at all? It is highly likely to be less dangerous even if it is more easily transmitted.
The health systems were overwhelmed because doctors did not treat the disease.
